A Day with Trevor Wisecup
In episode 27 of Walkie Talkie, Paulie B spends a day walking through the city and talking with New York photographer Trevor Wisecup.
About Trevor Wisecup
Trevor Wisecup grew up in a semi-rural part of Virginia and lives in New York, where he makes most of his work on the street. Daniel Arnold's photos were one of the reasons he started taking pictures. He shoots on film, mostly with a Chinon compact camera. Gelatin Labs sponsors him and develops and scans his film.
He prefers not to call himself a street photographer. His street photos sit alongside personal work: pictures of friends and family, as well as selfies. He often presents them in series or pairs. Wisecup made a zine, sells prints, and has taught workshops. Through a collaboration between Paulie B and the clothing brand UNCLE, his photos also appeared on walls in New York.
